ALUZZO SARAH R. 85 of Sterling Heights, died at home April 5, 2012 after a long struggle with heart failure. Born and raised in Detroit, she was the daughter of Sicilian immigrants Joseph and Lena Campagna. After World War II she met Vincent Aluzzo; they married in 1949. A homemaker and music lover, she was devoted to her children, grandchildren and extended family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years and six children: Annette (Dennis) Kingsbury, Denise (Charles) Hessler, Nadine (Roger) Weyersberg, Adrienne Aluzzo, Michelle (Greg) Skurya and Salvatore Aluzzo. Nine grandchildren survive, as does a sister, Josephine Bell. Memorial contributions suggested to Michigan Opera Theater, Beaumont Hospice, or Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Visitation Monday 3-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 11 a.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Interment Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
