DeROO FRANCIS PETER Sunday July 8, at age 86. Career electrician for General Motors. Veteran of WWII as an Airforce gunner. He was a sportsman who loved hunting, fishing and pigeon flying. Lifelong member of the Belgium Century Club. He is survived by his loving brother James (JoAnne) DeRoo and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial gathering Monday, July 16, 4-9 p.m. at the Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Park. Additional memorial gathering Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church, 4281 Marseilles, Detroit.
