BLACKSHEAR MARION SPEERS Beloved wife and widow of David S. Blackshear died peacefully at her home at Meredith Bay Colony Club on May 10, 2012. Marion is survived by five children, Ted, Becky, Catherine, Cindy, Peter, five grandchildren Jeremy, Ben Rachel, Molly and Kirsten and her sister Catherine. Marion was predeceased by her son Matt. Services will be held at the Baptist meeting house of the Federated Church of Sandwich. Visitation at the church will be Monday, May 14 from 6-8 p.m. A memorial service is scheduled for the following day, Tuesday, May 15 at 11 a.m. with interment immediately after in the Rural Cemetery The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wentworth Library or the Federated Church, both of Center Sandwich, NH. JULIAN GLEN MAXWELL A long time resident of Milford, died on May 12, 2012, at the age of 93. KROLL BERNARD "BEN" Dad was called to the Lord on May 12 at age 84, after a quick bout with cancer, in Grand Rapids. Ben was preceded in death by wife Helen and son Randy, and is survived by son Michael (Diane), daughter Kathleen, grandchildren Jason, Adam, and Rachel. Ben served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea and China. In 1952, he married Helen and they raised three children in Detroit. A long-time employee of Taystee Bread Company, Ben was also very active with the Knights of Columbus, becoming Grand Knight of the Monsignor Hunt Council in Dearborn Heights.
